Research has shown that anxiety, depression and stress are often helped by the company and support of others, time in the natural world, gentle exercise and a regular practice of mindful self-compassion. The purpose of these walks is to develop enjoyable, doable habits that promote well-being, personal growth and increased happiness and self-esteem. Walks will be between 1 and 3 miles long on well maintained, accessible, easy nature trails. Water, snacks, comfortable closed toed shoes, long pants, sunscreen and a hat are suggested.

Patt Dengler, LMFT helps people find answers to the questions in their lives and grow personally, professionally and in relationships.
She has twenty years experience as a psychotherapist and over 40 years experience in the counseling field. In addition to providing psychotherapy, she has taught graduate level counseling classes, supervised masters level and post graduate students, and created a host of counseling programs to support individuals, couples and families to feel better, be happier, and live healthier more fulfilling lives.
She has worked with a wide range of people and issues successfully and can communicate with people of all ages. She is non-judgmental, understanding and easy to talk to. She is collaborative by nature and likes to facilitate relationships built on mutual respect and sharing of ideas.
This group is offered for donation only. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Suggested donation is $15 to cover costs associated with rent, teachers, administrators, outreach and covering the participation of those who will pay less.
